Our vision is to create an inclusive golf community - this means making golf accessible to everyone. With our low hourly rental rate, free house clubs, and a private environment, Happy’s is a place where new and experienced golfers can enjoy the game.
A family that plays together…
The story of Happy’s began with a family’s focus on play, and not the end result. Tom (right) and his son Dan (left) grew up in Connecticut playing all kinds of sports. During his studies in Sport Management, Dan became passionate about the benefits of play - for children, adults, and seniors - and opening an experiential play facility was always a dream. A local businessman for over 30 years, Tom supported this dream and saw an opportunity in Southington to broaden the golf landscape.
Happy’s Indoor Golf opens in September of 2023
Happy’s is the culmination of a dream. It is a judgement free facility where anyone can swing the club and see if golf is something they are interested in pursuing, or if they just want to play tonight.
We hope that Happy’s opens up the floodgates and inspires your love of golf, but even if it doesn’t we hope that you relax, play, and laugh during your time here.

When are you open?
Due to our schedule we ask that you schedule your tee time in advance. From October to March we will be open from Monday to Sunday 9am - 10pm. From April to September we will be open only Fridays, 4-10pm, Saturdays & Sundays from 9am-10pm. If we do not have rentals booked 36 hours in advance, we will be closed. We will be closed on all US Federal holidays unless noted otherwise.

How much does it cost to play?
The rental rate for one simulator is $60/hour. Up to six players can play in one simulator bay. The price is on an hourly basis, not the number of players, or the number of holes played. If you have more than 6 players, please inquire over the phone about full facility reservations.

Do you have drinks or food?
We encourage you to bring your own beverages (alcoholic or otherwise) and food to our facility. We support take out and delivery of food from local restaurants. Ask our Caddies for food menus when you arrive or for recommendations before you arrive!

How long does it take to play 9 or 18 holes?
It all depends on your pace and how many people are in your group. Typically, it takes a half hour per person for 9 holes, and 1 hour per player to play 18 holes. For example, for two people to play nine holes it should take 1 hour.

Do I need to book in advance?
Yes - Due to the scheduled rental style of our facility, we highly recommend that you book in advance. We cannot guarantee that you will have a spot available if you walk in with no reservation. Call, email, or book online.

Do I need to bring my own clubs?
No, we offer free rental clubs for left handed and right handed players. If you have clubs you’d like to train with or use, please do.

What do I wear? Do I need special shoes?
We suggest wearing athletic or casual clothes. You should wear anything you’d be comfortable swinging a club in. We recommend sneakers or rubber soled shoes, but if you have golf shoes you are allowed to wear them. Dress shoes are not recommended.

Do I have to be a "golfer" to play?
No - the simulators are a fun experience for everyone from new golfers to seasoned pros. We offer casual gameplay styles and beginner courses for those just starting out as well as thousands of courses from all over the world and lessons to fine tune your swing.

What is the cancellation policy?
We value your business and ask that you respect our scheduling policies.
- Should you need to cancel or reschedule, please call or email us by midnight the night before your tee time. For example, if your tee time is on Friday at 2pm, you can cancel up until Thursday at 11:59pm. After midnight the reservation will be finalized.
- Any "day of" cancellations are non-refundable unless there is an emergency scenario.
- Happy’s reserves the right to give away your simulator after 30 minutes of a "no-show" without prior communication or cancellation.
